Vacancy Short Description : Our rapidly growing business based in Claydon is looking to take on a new apprentice in a sales and marketing capacity.


Qualifications Required : Entry onto the apprenticeship is subject to a thorough initial assessment to establish course suitability. Ideally applicants should have at least 4 GCSEs including English and maths at grades 9- 4 for a Level 3 Apprenticeship and 9-3 for a Level 2.
Proof of qualifications will be required before you can be accepted onto the apprenticeship.
PLEASE NOTE: All applicants regardless of entry requirements will be emailed an Initial Assessment to complete as part of the recruitment procedure. This is an online assessment in English and maths and can be completed at your preferred location remotely. Those without the stated entry requirements or awaiting GCSE/GCSE retake grades, will be offered further advice and guidance to support their application and may be invited to complete an assessment at one of the campuses.
Vacancy Full Description : This is a fulltime B2B sales and marketing role where the staff member will be responsible for helping drive sales and revenue for the company whilst completing the Business Administration Apprenticeship Standard.
A large part of the role will be outbound sales calls, contacting previous customers and former leads to find new business opportunities. The role also includes fielding inbound emails and calls to either qualify the nature of the enquiry to be passed to one of the company directors, or to see through to completion themselves.
As a small business the candidate will work closely with the company Directors who value and will seek their input on marketing ideas and strategies to help make their role even more effective.
The role will also include where suitable access to any and all social media channels to help express themselves and the company online to further promote the business.
Number of Positions Available : 1
Working Week : 9-5pm Mon-Fri (1 hr unpaid lunch)
Salary : £ 150.50 (Weekly)

Personal Qualities : Friendly, outgoing, personable, energetic and keen with a willingness to self-motivate.
Skills Required : Excellent level of spoken and written English. They will be a key ‘face of the business’ to many customers so must represent us well, with a friendly and personable demeanour. As well as that a solid level of numeracy is required as is competent use of computers and simple software systems such as Excell and database type programmes.
Future Prospects : The role has a large element of freedom and with a loose business structure in place we’re keen to find the right person and the help find the best role for them. Equally we aim to incentivise the role with a generous and competitive bonus scheme to ensure the Sales Executive earns more as the business does also!
Other Information : We are also flexible on start and finish times to help staff work around transport and family circumstances where needed.
Whilst the vast majority of our contacts are previous customers and therefore ‘warm leads’, the role might include a large volume of outbound calls, which can be potentially challenging and initially disheartening. The successful candidate must have the ability to work through these challenges with a professional and keen manner. Equally this is a desk based job so will be a lot of time spent in front of a computer monitor.
