Vacancy Short Description : To provide telephony and administration support to a fast-growing plumbing & heating business who prides itself on providing an excellent service to our valued customers.

 

Qualifications Required : Entry onto the apprenticeship is subject to a thorough initial assessment to establish course suitability. Ideally applicants should have at least 4 GCSEs including English and maths at grades 9- 4 for a Level 3 Apprenticeship and 9-3 for a Level 2.
Proof of qualifications will be required before you can be accepted onto the apprenticeship.
PLEASE NOTE: All applicants regardless of entry requirements will be emailed an Initial Assessment to complete as part of the recruitment procedure. This is an online assessment in English and maths and can be completed at your preferred location remotely. Those without the stated entry requirements or awaiting GCSE/GCSE retake grades, will be offered further advice and guidance to support their application and may be invited to complete an assessment at one of the campuses.
Vacancy Full Description : We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team and be first point of contact for our customers. The role is predominantly telephony based and does also include a variety of administrative tasks.

The successful candidate will be supporting our team to book in jobs, answer customer queries both via the phone and email and manage the engineer’s diaries.

As we are a small team in the office, each of us are vital to the smooth running of our business, so your input will be crucial. We manage a number of engineers out in the field who carry out plumbing & heating installs, servicing and repairs for both domestic and commercial customers.

You will predominantly be working alongside our current telephony administrator in order to manage call flow in a timely manner and support the management team with a variety of tasks.

Working Week : Mon-Fri 8.45am-5.15pm
Salary : £ 172.00 (Weekly)

Personal Qualities : We would like for someone to join our team who displays an honest, genuine personality. It would also be advantageous for the candidate to come across confident, positive and hard working.
Skills Required : A good level of IT knowledge & experience a you will be using a variety of software on a daily basis.
You need to be able to prioritise, make decisions and be confident in your ability so this comes across to the customer.
The ability to communicate clearly and confidently is incredibly important so this would need to be demonstrated in an interview.
You must be customer focussed and have a desire to succeed along with the rest of the team who work really hard towards our goal of successfully growing our business whilst ensuring an exceptional customer experience
Future Prospects : As we are a fast-growing business there could be opportunity for further development within our team. It is likely we will grow our administration team over time so there is opportunity to progress.
If you have a keen interest and specific knowledge in the plumbing & heating industry then there is no reason why you couldn’t work towards management one day.
Training to be Provided : Qualification: Customer Service Practitioner Level 2 Standard College Attendance: All assessment and training is undertaken in the workplace Training for all job specific tasks will be given. In addition the apprentice will have the support and guidance of a qualified assessor from the college, who will make on-site visits every 6-8 weeks. There may be the occasional need to attend either the Ipswich or Rural Suffolk (Otley) campus for short training courses and tests.
Other Information : This role does require for the successful candidate to spend most of their working day on the phone/headset and using a PC.
