Qualifications Required : ---Entry onto the apprenticeship is subject to a thorough initial assessment to establish course suitability. Ideally applicants should have at least 4 GCSEs including English and maths at grades 9- 4 for a Level 3 Apprenticeship and 9-3 for a Level 2.
Proof of qualifications will be required before you can be accepted onto the apprenticeship.
PLEASE NOTE: All applicants regardless of entry requirements will be emailed an Initial Assessment to complete as part of the recruitment procedure. This is an online assessment in English and maths and can be completed at your preferred location remotely. Currently, due to COVID19 we are not offering Initial Assessment appointments at either campus. Those without the stated entry requirements or awaiting GCSE/GCSE retake grades, will be offered further advice and guidance to support their application if required.
Vacancy Full Description : As part of the team the successful applicant will assist the fabrication team with the following roles and responsibilities:
• Assisting with the production of metal products that are then sold to clients across the world.
• Specialising in hand made wrought iron products for the home using many traditional methods as well as modern ones.
• Assisting with welding and fabrication of a variety of products
• General workshop duties such as cutting steel and using various tools.
Number of Positions Available : 1
Working Week : Monday to Friday 6am to 2:30pm with a half hour lunch break.
Salary : £ 186.00 (Weekly)

Other Information : Please bare in mind the physical nature of this role, you will be on your feet most of the day.
This is an early start and lateness will not be tolerated. If you are not good at getting up in the mornings, then this is not a job for you.
Please bare in mind the remote location of this opportunity you will likely need transport to get to and from work as well as the same for your College day release.
