Qualifications Required : Entry onto the apprenticeship is subject to a thorough initial assessment to establish course suitability. Ideally applicants should have at least 4 GCSEs including English and Maths at grades 9- 4 for an Advanced
Apprenticeship and 9-3 for an Intermediate. Proof of qualifications will be required before you can be accepted onto the apprenticeship. PLEASE NOTE: All applicants regardless of entry requirements will be emailed an Initial Assessment to complete as part of the recruitment procedure. This is an online assessment in English and maths and can be completed at your preferred location remotely. Currently, due to COVID19 we are not offering Initial Assessment appointments at either campus. Those without the stated entry requirements or awaiting GCSE/GCSE retake grades, will be offered further advice and guidance to support their application if required.
Vacancy Full Description : As a key member of the team working in all the hospitality areas of the business your role and training will include:
Learning event planning from client enquiry to the actual event.
Marketing for events.
You will be expected to serve customers in coffee shop and learn bar work.
Table waiting, siliver service and front of house skills.
Initially we are looking for someone to covering all aspects of the role however over time we will help you develop in the area you feel most enthusiastic for.
Number of Positions Available : 1
Working Week : 4-5 days of shifts TBC Mon-Sun min 35 hour week depending on event bookings
Salary : £ 150.50 (Weekly)

Future Prospects : Upon achieving qualifications we would hope to continue the employment with a wage commensurate of the standard of competence attained. Training opportunities will continue to be offered to enthusiastic employees.
Training to be Provided : Apprentices will require a strong work ethic, good communication skills and to be prepared to work irregular hours as required in the industry. They will learn to recognise customer needs, knowing how to match them to the products and services of the business and working as part of a team to ensure every customer, whether they are eating in a restaurant, drinking cocktails in a bar feels welcomed and looked after. Job roles in Hospitality could include front of house, waiter, bar tender or mixologist. The apprentice will complete an End Point Assessment to demonstrate that they can perform knowledge, skills and behaviours in their occupation.
